Ifixit shares the first part of its ‘small-bodied’ iPhone 12 mini teardown

We’ve already seen some videos showing the internal components of the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max, which were officially launched in stores today. Now, finally shared the first part of it IPhone 12 Mini Teardown, Which they call “small-body phones.”

All of the iPhone 12 models introduced by Apple Pal this year all have very similar interior components, but their sizes are very different, so the internal layout of each phone is also very similar. And we can clearly see here on the iPhone 12 mini teardown.

The first significant difference reported by iFixit relates to the antenna, which is more asymmetrical on the iPhone 12 Mini. This was probably an engineering decision as the phone does not have enough internal space to accommodate the antenna design like the larger models.

The iPhone 12 Mini will bring an interesting new feature: an increase in grille asymmetry (probably on J Johnny Ivy’s Chagrin). It looks like a small phone needs a little more space for a small antenna band.

Included in the iPhone 12 Mini The Marrow module is almost the same as the regular iPhone 12, but it doesn’t have as much plastic space as the larger model – and that’s because the iPhone 12 uses the same layout as the iPhone 12 Pro, but without a leader scanner.

Components Paul had to remove these components from the camera on the iPhone 12 Mini to make room for other components. IFixit also wondered how the Apple Pal fits into such a small phone with a large camera just like any other iPhone.

In this small-bodied phone we are impressed with the extra camera, but it may already come at the expense of pellet battery life. It’s hard to be mad at this laul person, though.

Speaking of the battery, Ifixit confirmed that the component capacity found in the iPhone 12 Mini is higher than the 2020 iPhone SE battery, which goes from 6.96 W to 8.57 Wh. However, this is still much less than the 10.78 WH of the regular iPhone 12 battery.

Apple has also reduced the size of other iPhone 12 mini components, including the Play Tactic engine, but that leaves no room for a larger battery on the device.

This mini battery is surprisingly 8.57 watts. It’s more interesting than the iPhone SE 2020’s 6.96 WHS, but it’s soon short of the standard 10.78 WH, which is at its peak.
