That is, so far, with a new series that delves into one of the show’s most fascinating relationships.
TrekMovie reports that a new miniseries of four issues is calling Seven’s Reckoning will launch later this year, and as the name already suggests, it puts the spotlight on Voyager‘s ex-Borg fave, Seven of Nine. Penned by Star Trek: WaypointDave Baker, featuring art and colors by Angel Hernandez and Ronda Pattison respectively, is the miniseries set in Voyagerthe fourth season– Specifically between the seventh and eighth episodes of the season, “Scientific Method” and “Year of Hell, Part 1”- once in Seven’s time on board the ship.
Except that they’re already dealing with their returning humanity and their place in it Voyagerhis crew, Seven’s Reckoning will visit the morality of Seven. If the ship comes across a damaged ship during its mission via the Delta Quadrant. Trying to lend a hand goes about as it does for each episode of Star Trek about repairing mysterious alien ships: Seven Finds herself trapped in an interstellar conflict that has been in quadrants for centuries, making her re-examination of her own humanity so much more stressful than it already was.

Sand is already one of Voyager‘s most interesting characters – and comes back in their arc Picard used to be an absolute highlight of his first season – but a chance to go back to some of her first appearances in the show to dig deeper in their identity and that early journey of self-reflection is really cool. Hopefully it means a lot too heel good Seven / Janeway debate in the process!
