Popular television star Ally Gony made a grand entry in Bigg Boss 14 on Wednesday. In the promo announcing his entry, the actor said that he has decided to take part in the show as he cannot see his good friend Jasmine Bhasin going through emotional turmoil. Earlier, both have participated in Khatran Ke Khiladi 9 and Khatran Ke Khiladi – Made in India.
Before setting foot in the House, Gony spoke to indianexpress.com and shared that whatever comes, he will never nominate Jasmine. “And I don’t mind if she nominates me,” said the loving friend. In a conversation, the 29-year-old spoke about his rivalry with Bestie and how he thinks of playing a personal game. He also shared his thoughts with the contestants.
Conversation excerpts:
As the promo suggests, you are entering Bigg Boss 14 for your friend Jasmine Bhasin. Do you think there is a good reason to do a reality show?
why not? I’ve been in the discussion for this show for a long time, and would have done this show at some point in my career. And this is a game where you always need emotional support. So instead of participating with a friend there was a good chance. This is a great time to be at Big Boss.
It will be a difficult call to compete with your bestie. And do you think it can affect your bond?
Not at all We’ve already been on two competitive shows, and that has never affected our bonds. I don’t think game shows spoil our relationship. Also, honestly, even when I enter the show, I want her to win Bigg Boss 14. I promised her I would do anything to bring her the trophy home.
What do you think Jasmine would react to seeing you at home?
Honestly, I have no idea. I don’t even know what to say to him. We haven’t been away from each other for so long without talking on the phone. I’m really excited to meet him, and I hope he’ll be happy too.
Last week, Jasmine had a very emotional outburst after her fight with Rahul Vaidya. How hard was it to watch it on television?
It was quite tough, not only for me, but her family and other friends as well. I told her she shouldn’t cry and even until the last moment, told her to get stronger. However, I think all of this will make it stronger. It was a helpless situation at the time, but now I’m glad I’ll be there for her.
You are sharing your opinions about the contestants on social media during all this. What are your thoughts on entering the show?
Since I did a reality show, I know that certain parts of the footage have been shown to people. Now that I’ll be a competitor, I have no hypotheses about them. I form my opinions after communicating with them and getting to know them better. In a few days, you guys will see what I think about them just on the show.
Do you want to go through your friend Jasmine’s equations or make a personal connection to the show?
It’s not really important that I be friends with her friends. I really can’t make friends very easily. And from what we’ve seen on the show, people are chasing each other all the time. I will make my own connections and that too with caution.
You are at the risk or player, where you fought your fears. What is one fear you want to fight on Bigg Boss 14?
I want to test my self-control in the show. I have been very aggressive since childhood, and have fought many battles even at school. I have been very quiet for years. Also, I abuse a lot, so I want to see how much control I can have. This would be a good opportunity to know my threshold.
Seeing the rumors of dating between the two of you, do you think that staying together at home will help clarify your stand or add more fuel to the fire?
It doesn’t really bother us both anymore. We like to spend time together and we are ga thick friends. We have now begun to ignore it.
There are reports that you are the highest earning competitor this season. What do you have to say about that?
What can I say about this? (Laughs) I have no clue what the other got. The amount I thought was appropriate. I have worked hard over the years, and I am thankful to God for what I have achieved.
What’s missing in Bigg Boss 14 that you’ll want to add?
I don’t really know, but maybe a little happy. We don’t see the fun of home, and I give coolness and make others around me happy. Everyone is getting very involved in the game. I am sure people will really love me and support me in the game.
