A woman who went to Tirade after refusing to wear a mask at a New Jersey bank on Black Friday has become the subject of a viral video.
But her distinctive claim that sets her apart from what has become the style of viral mask refusers is:
He says, “I am a scientist. “There’s no Corona!”
In a video recorded at Englewood Citibank, a customer threatens a bank employee and threatens their job, promising they will become “famous”.
When the customer’s identity is unknown, it is clearly audible in the clip. The woman says there is no corona (virus) in the same breath, she worries what will happen if the employee has Covid-19.
“Count your days !!” It booms. “Grandpa! Does this give you the right to be a grandfather ?! Because you brainwashed ?! I am a scientist! There is no corona! Don’t let me wear your mask! Are you crashing … are you trying to hit me ?? What happens if you have corona? ”
The video, which was shared on Twitter by ireFirenzeMike on Sunday, has been viewed 1.4 million times, calling the woman a “maskless Karen”.
“Karen” videos have consistently come out during the COVID-19 epidemic. They mostly refuse to wear masks to white women, showing entitled or racist behavior.
New Jersey has a mask order that requires that facial ingots be worn in public places inside, and that they cover the nose and mouth. People also need to wear masks in public places outside if they cannot practice social distance, with some exceptions, including eating and exercising.
In July, state legislators introduced a bill that would violate Governor Phil Murphy’s April executive order, which criminalized indiscriminate masking of individuals inside the home, with a 30-day jail term and a fine of up to $ 500. Which one will refuse to wear.
Eric Seifert, who uses the Twitter handle @ITSMRSizal, has shared a bank video with ireFirenzeMike. A friend of Siferts, who wished to remain anonymous on Nov. 27 at Angelwood Bank, said. He then shared the video in the group’s text with friends, including Seafert.
“It upset me,” Seifert tells NJ Advance Media.
Seifert, not a big fish fan, weighs in on group text:
“I haven’t been to a fish show in a year, my daughters have missed the season of Lacrosse and Valey Leib!” He said.
Seifert offered to share the clip with @FireNazMike, which has more Twitter followers. After watching the video, former NBA player Rex Chapman shared it with his 1 million followers.
The clip begins in the middle of some sharp remarks by the woman.
“Because I’ll take this all the way,” she says, talking to a masked bank employee behind the counter. “I’m going to court to fight masks now and you don’t tell me what to do!” Stay six feet away from me and socialize – no, more! More! Do you want to be safe? Stand six feet away from me, okay? That’s all. “
The woman further says, “Give me your name with your name because this branch will hear your name.” “You’re going to be famous. Do it now! Do it now! “
“You work for me!” It screams. “I don’t work for you !! I have been a customer since 1990! Then you were born ?? You should be ashamed! “
At one point, the woman appears to be reacting to the mask.
“You’re so lucky he’s not here.” The customer continues. “‘Because he knows me well, your boss. Count your days! Count your days !! Grandpa! What, does this give you the right to be a grandfather ?! Because you’re brainwashed?! I’m a scientist !! There’s a corona! Don’t wear me your mask! Are you crashing … Are you trying to kill me ?? What happens if you have a corona? You just said you’re trying to kill me? Want to know ‘because we’re on camera. Did you suggest me wear your dirty mask? Because I think you did. Give me your name and your number now. Done.’
“City is proud of how our frontline colleagues at the Englewood branch handled this unfortunate situation,” City spokesman Drew Benson told NJ Advance Media. “We do not tolerate abuse of our staff.”
Seifert lives downstairs at the home of “another famous Karen” from Englewood, Tenaflya – he says – Karen Turner, a former Port Authority officer who ran to the scene and burned his badge in 2018 while his daughter was riding. Through borough police (during the encounter, Turner told a police officer that he could “f — stop.”) He says his friend noticed that police were leaving Englewood Bank.
“She can get Kovid. She could have given it to people at the bank, “said Sifert, referring to the woman in the video. “I was going to post it on Nextdor,” he says, of the neighboring social network.
