HP’s new 14-inch Specter x360 flexible laptop is Evo-certified

HPA today announced a list of Intel Evo-certified laptops, led by a 14-inch entry into the Specter X360 lineup. With a 13.5-inch display, the new flexible, convertible PC is slightly larger than other devices in the series. It is the first Specter x360 to use a 3: 2 aspect ratio, which HP says offers a chance to see even 20% more ical than the 16: 9 aspect ratio. Also, it’s the first in the series that the company calls its “all-in-one keyboard”, with a fingerprint reader, power, new camera marrow shutter, HP Command Center and mute mic button. (It is worth noting that HPA used renewable materials for keyboard scissors.)

This means that the Evo-Certified means the laptop-tablet device is powered by 11th-gen Intel Core processors, fast enough to wake up from less than a second of sleep and supports fast charging. Other notable features include WiFi 6 support and a battery life of up to 17 hours. On the software side of things, the Specter x360 14 comes with a focus mode that dams out background applications not used for productivity purposes and a new setting called Auto Toe Color, which automatically switches the screen’s color locations based on the content being viewed. The Specter x360 14 has an optional OLED display that brings the device a 1,000,000: 1 contrast ratio and comes in Poseidon Blue with Copper Lux accents in Nightfill Fall L Black, Pale Brass accents and Natural Silver.
