How to watch the OnePlus Nord AR live stream

The launch of OnePlus Nord will be the first to occur as an AR live streaming event across all devices.

Clearly, the company insists on breaking the mold with its mid-range smartphone, which could mean a completely different launch event than what we’re used to. There has probably never been another mid-range smartphone on the market with such fanfare or interest, even without a broad launch in the United States.

Even before the live stream of the launch begins, we already know quite a bit about OnePlus Nord. We expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with 5G capacity, up to 12 GB of RAM and a 90 Hz AMOLED screen. In addition, we have seen well the design and the next OnePlus Buds, thanks to the leaks and the advances of the firm itself.

What time does the OnePlus Nord live stream start?

The OnePlus Nord AR live stream will begin on Tuesday, July 21 at 7 am PT, 10 am ET, 3 pm BST.

What you will need

  • Download the OnePlus Nord AR app
  • Headphones (although not necessary)
  • A wifi connection
  • An AR-capable smartphone

When you launch the dedicated OnePlus Nord AR startup app, you’ll need to make sure your phone is fully charged, your headphones are on, and Wi-Fi is connected for the best overall experience. You will also need a flat surface for scanning in order to see how the phone is revealed. Scanning one of the cardboard invitation QR codes will also give you additional features, such as the ability to take photos and record videos of the live event.

If you don’t have an invitation, you can scan the QR code below:

While an AR live stream for the OnePlus Nord launch is really interesting, we hope OnePlus will also run a standard video live stream featuring its latest device for those who prefer standard online video. However, there is no guarantee that this will happen.
