How to watch CNN’s ‘The Fourth in America’ special with Don McLean, Barry Manilow and more


Are you worried about how to spend July 4th in the middle of a pandemic? CNN has you covered. On Saturday (July 4), the network will broadcast its own patriotic special, The fourth in the United States.

The prime-time event will feature performances by a host of artists, including Don McLean, Barry Manilow, Martina McBride, Kenny Loggins, Jewel, and more. And not only are solo acts entertaining, they’re also slated to take the Broadway casts of Northern country girl and Not too proud, as well as the famous Harlem Gospel Choir.

The Fourth in America will showcase fireworks displays in cities across the country, from New York and Washington DC to Houston, Nashville, and Jacksonville, Florida, all accompanied by orchestral performances by various military bands, symphonies, and youth orchestras.

Hosted by CNN’s Don Lemon and Dana Bash, the special will air live at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT for subscribers on the CNN.com home page and CNN apps for iOS and Android. It will also be available on the network’s online streaming platform, CNNgo.
