This is where to dive into Gorgeous Gorge and unlock Aquaman’s alternate skin in ‘Fortnite’.
This is the week where you can finally claim Aquaman’s skin in Fortnite after five weeks of challenges.
You can read Paul Tassi’s guide to help you claim your trident, which will unlock both the trident ax and Aquaman’s skin, provided you’ve already done the now annoying swirl challenge. Now, it’s time to reclaim his alternative, shirtless Jason Momoa Aquaman style, clearly the only real option for this skin (also known as Arthur Curry skin).
This challenge has been alive for a while, but you couldn’t do it until today, when you have the skin. You need to dive over the waterfall in Gorgeous Gorge while wearing Aquaman skin.
While the map has changed due to all the flooding, Gorgeous Gorge is in the same place as ever. Here it is on the map, now it is next to the floating boat shop that runs between two cliffs. Once I’m there, I’d jump into the water instead of jumping off the cliff next to it, as I’m not sure that counts.
Lovely throat
As you can see, Gorgeous Gorge is just north and west of Lazy Lake, south of The Authority.
Once in the water, swim to the edge of the waterfall and jump. So give him an Aquaman “wahooo!” while you do it, although I suppose it is optional. This should complete the challenge and unlock the shirtless style for you.
Since these are truly the only two looks for Aquaman at the DCEU, I wouldn’t expect any additional secret styles. Maybe a funny comic blonde Aquaman head choice? I doubt it, so it’s probably this. We know a Black Manta mask is coming, probably tonight at the supply store, but after that, we may be done with Aquaman after this week, unless you decide you want to host a party on the yacht or something.
The next DC mask we’re likely to see in Fortnite was Wonder Woman, as part of a seemingly inevitable crossover promotion with WW 1984, and yet that movie has been delayed until late fall, and at this rate, it may not even out. this year at all with movie theaters seemingly closed forever. So if there was a crossover planned for that, I wouldn’t expect to see it for long. The same goes for Marvel, as we were supposed to be watching Black Widow already, which is not happening, although we already have a Black Widow mask in the game. Although not one that looks like Scarlett Johansson.
More superhero stuff to come, just not for a while I guess.
