How to Gift the Battle Pass in Modern Warfare and Warzone

Call of Duty is officially encouraging the spirit of generosity, as they just announced that the Modern Warfare and Warzone Battle Pass can be gifted through the Companion App.

The Call of Duty Companion App lets players track their Battle Pass progress, analyze their stats, read on multiple and Warzone news guides, and even access a variety of Call of Duty League content.

While you could also track the statistics of your Activision friends and game history on the app, you can now get generation and access them to the Battle Pass.

How to Battle Battle Pass

1. If you do not already have it, download the Call of Duty Companion App
2. If your friend is not already an Activision friend, add them as one (they should be) friends on Activision, not just Playstation or Xbox, and should be your friend for more than a week)
3. Go to the “Player” tab, and scroll to the “Battle Pass” section, where you’ll find a “Gift the Pass” option
4. Select which pass you want to gift, whether it is the Battle Pass Bundle for 2,400 COD points or the default Battle Pass for 1,000 COD points
5. Send her a gift and share the karmic goodies of being a nice friend

Once the gift has been sent, they can sign up and see that they have a reward in their game client. At that point, they would be able to start jumping through all 100 tiers of the pass (though they might have to restart their system first for the gift to get through).

You can now “give the pass” the options of the CoD app to an Activision friend.

Whether it’s an expensive friend who gets jealous of your cosmetics collection or someone else’s birthday, this is an easy way to turn your excessive COD points into an easily transferred gift.

Maybe it’s a buddy with a great Gulag call or someone who forgives you for buying a Loadout and accidentally throws it in one inaccessible location – both sides, now you have another option to reward them with.
