The Asus ROG Phone 3 is a robust gaming-focused device. Even their wallpapers are designed to cheer when you turn on High performance “X mode”. The intention is to evoke that “extreme gaming” environment (sometimes even a bug), but the live wallpapers really look great, and thanks to the XDA Forums user’s linuxct, you can now install them on any telephone running Android 9 or higher.
Linuxct even created a special X-Mode Toggler application that emulates the X-Mode button to enable wallpaper animations. The companion app is required to use the wallpapers, but pressing the button is purely aesthetic; meIt does not affect the performance of your phone.
You can download ROG Phone 3 live wallpapers and linuxct X-Mode app from XDA developersBut you will need to do a few things to install everything on your Android phone. The process also requires a PC, a USB Cable and an ADB tool.
