So what does it pay to work for President Donald Trump?
The latest list of White House employees and their salaries has 412 people, including the names you see every day at press conferences and other high-profile events, including disputes with Democrats.
Then there are members of Trump’s cabinet, who do not work outside the White House, but take their orders from the President.
Members of Trump’s cabinet and his top White House advisers earn more than members of Congress, who are paid $ 174,000 a year.
Since 1995, Congress has required the White House to report annually the names, titles, and salaries of those who work for the President. Here’s a taste of how much some of them earn, as well as some of Trump’s cabinet officials and the president himself:
Kellyanne Conway, $ 183,000
Originally from New Jersey, Conway was the first woman to run a successful presidential campaign. Conway, assistant to the president and chief adviser, grew up in the Atco section of Waterford Township.
Kayleigh McEnany, $ 183,000
Trump’s new press secretary came from his reelection campaign in April.
Mark Meadows, $ 183,000
The former Republican congressman is the current chief of staff of the White House.
Mike Pompeo, $ 203,500
Pompeo is secretary of state.
Stephen Miller, $ 183,000
Miller, one of the few senior advisers who has been in the White House since the start of the Trump administration, is the president’s senior adviser to politics.
Jared Kushner, $ 0
The Livingston native, who is married to Trump’s daughter Ivanka, has no salary as a senior adviser.
Stephanie Grisham, $ 183,000
The former White House press secretary is now chief of staff to First Lady Melania Trump and her chief spokesperson.
Hope Hicks, $ 183,000
The former Trump campaign spokeswoman and former White House communications director returns as an adviser to the President.
Larry Kudlow, $ 183,000
Kudlow is Trump’s top economic adviser.
Ivanka Trump, $ 0
Trump’s daughter is a single adviser to the President.
Roma Daravi, $ 95,000
Special Assistant to the President, Daravi is Director of Broadcast Media.
Pasquale Cipollone, $ 183,000
As the president’s attorney, Cipollone defended Trump during his Senate impeachment.
Ben Carson, $ 203,500
The former Republican presidential candidate lost to Trump and then joined his administration as housing secretary.
Brian Jack, $ 168,000
White House director of political affairs Jack holds the post once held by Bill Stepien, the former aide to the then-governor. Chris Christie, who is now Trump’s campaign manager.
Robert O’Brien, $ 183,000
John Bolton’s successor as national security adviser was previously the government’s top hostage negotiator.
Judd Deere, $ 135,000
Deere is the White House deputy press secretary.
Dan Scavino, $ 183,000
Scavino, deputy director of communications staff, serves as director of social media.
Joy Otaño, $ 135,000
Otaño is director of personnel for the White House.
Elaine Chao, $ 203,500
The U.S. Secretary of Transportation and enemy of the Gateway Tunnel is the wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Republican of Ky.
Andrew Giuliani, $ 95,000
The son of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, he is associate director of the Office of Public Liaison and helps organize sports team visits to the White House.
John Crews, $ 120,000
He is a special assistant to the president of economic policy.
Donald Trump, $ 400,000
The president donates his salary each quarter to various federal agencies.
He also receives $ 100,000 for travel, $ 50,000 for expenses, and $ 19,000 for entertainment.
Presidential pay has been unchanged since 2001.
