If you ever dreamed of owning a house that looks like it, it could be blown up by a bright vine, well, then your chance is.
The two-bedroom, three-bath house known as the “pie house” was launched in Deerfield, Illinois for just under $ 270,000. And while that’s certainly a bargain for a spacious piece of real estate in suburban Chicago, the house requires an open minded buyer because it’s extremely … narrow.
Recently, the ‘pie house’ made its debut on TikTok thanks to user eli.korn_. On August 6, he shot a video outside the ‘lean house’, in more than 284,000 likes in one day.
As you can see in the video, the house, which is probably good for a “first time homeowner,” looks normal enough – until you see it from the side. That is when you realize that, although the height and length are normal, the width of the house is almost non-existent.
People were shocked and disturbed by the unusual proportions of the house.
‘That’s not a house that is a hall,’ joked one person.
“How does one live?” Asked another user.
“This has deeply overwhelmed me,” added a third person.
Although the “lean house” looks like it could barely fit on a folding table, photos of the interior show that it is actually quite spacious – and beautiful! – inside.
