How are Americans catching the virus? Increasingly, ‘they have no idea’

Now, though, any sense of control has been abolished. The number of active cases of Covid-19 has quadrupled in Grand Forks County since October-October 912, and nearly half of those contacted by the health department say they are not sure how they became infected.

“People are realizing that you can get it anywhere,” says the 21-year-old nursing student, who also works as a state contact tracer at Grand Forks. Mrs. Lingang has also fallen ill along with many of her colleagues. She found her case in her parents, who began to show symptoms at first. In addition, the trail cools.

“They have no idea where her parents came in contact with the virus,” she said.

Ms. Lingang, lying alone at her home with her cat, feels sick day by day. The dishes are soaked in the sink – it’s too weak to wash them for too long. But she’s still working, calling at least 0 people a day to let them know their tests are back, yet her job is no longer to track who might infect them. “Right now the number of cases is high. Our team can’t afford to have no one to work with,” he said.

Earlier, during the quiet period of the epidemic, the virus had spread with some degree of certainty. Aside from the most affected cities, people may ask a common question – “Where did you get that?” – and often get tangible answers.

East Lansing, Mich., A popular college bar in Harper’s Restaurant and Brupub, became a hot spot this summer after dozens of people hit the bar, drank, danced and stood close together. At least 192 people – 146 at the bar and 46 with relationships at the bar – were infected. After that, the government’s Gretchen Whitmer stopped indoor dining at bars in parts of the state.

In Ingam County, which includes a lot of pre-lensing, it is very difficult to say where the virus has now spread. Of the 700 counties reported in the county during the epidemic, more than ૨ 2,000 have been reported since the beginning of September.

At Michigan State University, where students live off-campus and take classes online, most of the new spread can be linked to students. But every day, employers and residents call the health department to report a random case to the clinic which rejects a simple explanation.
