Holy Chub! Hey Cleveland Browns fans, wasn’t it fun? – Terry Pluto

CLEVELAND, Ohio – So Browns fans can expect from their team’s new offense.

Run the ball.

In the name of Nick Chubb, give the ball to the running back. It’s a remarkable combination of bullish power with the ballet dancer’s sharp cut-making and direction-changing awesomeness. Put 124 yards in 24 carry next to his name.

In the name of Baker Mayfield, watch him play with a sense of comfort, confidence and security, thanking his blocs and his player. He had a hurdle, but otherwise, he felt better than many of his games in 2019.

Ll Dale Beckham’s name, how did he catch that 43-yard from Mayfield? At least on this pleasure on Thursday night, how will the receiver fit into this balanced offense?

In the name of Cream Hunt, you see how he took over the running game from Chubb and wore Wilboby South Product Bangles down. He bolted 86 yards in 10 carry.

Now, the numbers that really count: the final score, the Browns 35, the Cincinnati 30.

Love this back

That sound of relief you can hear is coming from the Browns front office fee and new head coach Kevin Stefansky. This was their crime when assembling the team and putting up with the playbook. Helped him erase some of the embarrassment from Sunday’s loss to Baltimore.

As a play-killer as well as head coach, Stefans Skinny’s commitment to the game in Maryland was not as great as it was on Thursday. The difference was so obvious. By the time Hunt scored on a 2 yard TD with 3:55 left, the Browns had a 35-23 lead. At the time, Chubb and Hunt were each a pair of touchdowns. They ran for 210 yards.

Most fans love the running game and the running back. They have the NFL’s best running back combination in Cleveland. That dynamic attack helped Mayfield. The defense had to focus on the back, and this helped Mayfield to go 4 — 5 for 87 yards on play-passing action passing.

Those statistics suggest that brown people should use those fakes more often to find wide-open receivers.

For defense

Like most things with the Browns, there were a lot of good things about this victory … but it wasn’t easy.

Defense has problems and that could be the case all season. They have five starts. Aside from the defensive line, there is no more talent on that side of the ball. The Bengals Rookie QB was a performance in the eyes of Bur Burrow. LSU production was 61-of-11 for 316 yards. He made life miserable for most night defenses.

But there was a key role played by the defense that helped the Bengals avoid being upset. Early in the third quarter, the Browns had a first and goal on Cincinnati 1. After four plays, the offense left the field without a point. It was like flops near the goal line a year ago.

I thought of KP Stefansky’s words after losing to Baltimore on Sunday: “We did a lot of things that teams lost.” They were ready to do it again.

The Bengalis took power. Then came the defense. Miles Garrett, rushing in from the inside, pulled the ball out of Burroughs’ hands. The Browns got back on the 1-yard line. This time, Chub picks up the TD.

Garrett’s belt stabilized the Browns ship which was becoming a very turbulent situation.

The defense held Cincinnati’s own Mix Mix for 46 yards in 16 series. Brown ran 308 yards in two games in 2019.

When the night was Stefansky’s offense, the defense did at least a few things to make sure the team didn’t fall below 0-2.
