Hilary Duff is calling her non-masked fellow citizens amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 32-year-old singer and actress visited Instagram on Saturday (July 4) to express her frustration after driving at a party in Los Angeles where people did not have their faces covered.
“I passed a furious party in Mulholland. Holes in A. No masks (of course). Girls in bathing suits and louboutins waiting to line up in a club,” Duff said captioned a series of family photos. “California is in bad shape (in many ways), but not everyone thinks we all want to go out freely and travel and enjoy the summer.”
California Governor Gavin Newsom has pointed out that people in the Golden State, including Los Angeles County cities, could be fined if they don’t wear a mask in public, according to CNN.
Duff went on to point out that he believes many Americans “don’t care about each other” and joked that he can give Kanye West, who recently announced plans to run for president, a run for his money in the next run.
“Other countries have come together in a beautiful way to contain or be free of Covid. It is shameful that we are worse than ever because people need to party and Karens will not wear masks!” she wrote. “Oh, and I’m running for president.”
