Hilary Duff is speaking.
The 32-year-old singer and actress took to Instagram on Saturday to celebrate July 4, but also to criticize irresponsible partygoers in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, and even tease Kanye West in the process.

In legend, the former “Lizzie McGuire” star said her family celebrated the vacation with two walks, a family nap and a car trip.
“I went through a furious party in Mulholland. Holes in A. No masks (of course). Girls in bathing suits and louboutins waiting to line up in a club,” he wrote. “After @matthewkoma and I told Banks that she’s too good to need to do that, we were steaming …”

The “So Yesterday” singer referenced “Karen,” a pejorative term he has come to highlight to label a demanding, middle-aged white woman who displays a dominant sense of entitlement in various social confrontations.
Duff’s remarks come after several states have seen sharp spikes in reported coronavirus cases as efforts to reopen America’s progress continue.
More than 45,000 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Saturday, and the state of California reported more than 2,300.
Duff concluded his post: “Oh, and I’m running for president.”

The joke apparently mocked rapper Kanye West’s announcement, which also came on Saturday, that he plans to run for president in the 2020 election.
“Now we must deliver on America’s promise by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future,” West, 43, said on Twitter. “I am running for President of the United States! # 2020VISION.”
