Nikola Jokic was there again today, it just took a little longer for him to continue. After struggling in the first half – scoring just four points – Jokic went on to strike in the second half and especially in both overtime to lead Denver past Utah.
Jokic finished the game with 30 points, 26 of which came in the second half and overtime. Not only did Jokic score the ball, but he also finished with a double-double in 11 rebounds to go along with seven assists.
Rudy Gobert dropped out in the first overtime, which Jokic could really work on. Jokic scored the ball at will and constantly found the open man for an easy shot.
Frege #Nuggets star Nikola Jokic why he feels so comfortable in coupling situations:
“Because there’s no pressure. It’s 3 … 2..1 .. and you have to shoot. I can not think of it.”
