Alabama has landed another top-ranked player in Florida.
Four-star running back Dallas Turner got engaged to Crimson Tide on Wednesday and announced his engagement during an appearance on CBS Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Turner is ranked as the second-best weak-side defensive end and 44th-best overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class, ranked by 247Sports Composite.
Turner, who transferred to Florida power Saint Thomas Aquinas earlier this year, posted 15 sacks as a junior last season for a different Florida program (American Heritage).
It is the continuation of active recruiting for Alabama. As of May 7, the Tide had only two engagements for its 2021 class. Alabama now has as many as 10, including five from the state of Florida.
Running coach Charles Huff has been the lead recruiter at Turner for Tide.
