Rumors have emerged that Hideo Kojima is working on a horror game, along with rumors that Konami has partnered with Japanese manga artist Suehiro Maruo for potential Silent hills Renaissance. And while the latter has apparently been crushed, the former is getting a boost from another Japanese manga artist.
According to a Comic-Con 2020 interview, Junji Ito (yes, that Junji Ito), stated that he had been in contact with Kojima about a possible horror game. Ito stated that: “I know director Kojima and we’ve been talking about what a horror-based game he might be doing may be, so he invited me to work on it, but there are no details about it yet. . “
Now, before we all go crazy, Ito seems to be doing one of Kojima’s tricks to play with fans. He said that Kojima may be working on a horror game that he may be doing. However, if you remember this little tweet Guillermo del Toro sent in 2015 when he and Kojima were working on Silent hills Together, there could be something else to all of this.

But until someone confirms something, we all have to speculate once again.
