The “something special” brought about by Google over the weekend is a series of month-long offers. Fred Armisen is the face of the Google Store Daily Store with various parodies showing various devices of the Assistant and how they are useful.
For next month, there will be a “Daily Special” on a Made by Google product in the Google Store in the US The company is partnering with Fred Armisen of Saturday night live, Portlandiaand Documentary now! fame. The comedian plays all the characters in this series with funny voices, costumes, and elaborate wigs. Each product has an angle with the Nest Mini called “The Nest Meditation Guru”.

Monday July 13: Nest Mini
The first special of the day on Google Store has a discount of $ 20 in a package of 2 units of Nest Mini. Normally $ 98, it will cost $ 78 until Sunday, July 19 at 11:59 pm PT. Announced at Made by Google 2019, this is the company’s newest Nest product. It looks identical to the first generation, but offers 2x stronger bass from a 40mm driver and “enhanced speech recognition” with 3 far-field microphones. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core 64-bit ARM CPU and a “high-performance ML hardware engine” for more processing on the device.
As you get closer, LEDs automatically turn on to show volume, while the Nest Mini can be wall-mounted with a built-in bracket / slot on the bottom. As part of an environmental boost, the fabric cover, available in Chalk (gray), Sky (Blue), Coral (orange) and Charcoal (black), is made from recycled plastic bottles.
