Heather Morris posted a tear-jerk video on Instagram on Sunday in memory of her late “Glee” co-star Naya Rivera.
Morris, 33, portrayed ‘Glee’ cheerleader Brittany Pierce who eventually married Rivera’s character, Santana Lopez.
The actress received her passionate video, “You are not alone.”

“I’ve already done a few of these because it’s very difficult to film yourself and be honest and talk in person,” Morris began.
The podcast host of ‘Dance Room’ went on to say: ‘I’ve been feeling really heavy lately. I felt this in my heart as I connected with my fans, to connect with everyone who is a little lost and familiar at this time. ‘
Rivera’s character development as a lesbian in the show “Glee” was praised by many fans in the LGBTQ + community.

‘Most of you felt like an inspiration to become your best self. I want you to know that this was never lost on me, ”Morris said. ‘It was never lost on Naya. We both knew how special that was. I think she knew a little more than I did. “
She added: “I really felt it a lot later with all the posts and all the people reaching out to them. And I knew the writers knew that too. They basically write for the fans.”
Morris then revealed that she felt a “deep need” to relieve how “important” her relationship with her fans meant.

Rivera’s body was recovered from Lake Piru near Los Angeles, California, by authorities on July 5. An autopsy performed by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that her cause of death was an accidental drowning.
She and her son went swimming during their excursion – he was wearing a life jacket, but that was not her – and he got back in the boat, but she did not, said the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
