It all started when Kevin McHale, who played the role of Artie, retweeted a fan post about “A Very Glee Christmas”:
In the tweet, the face of Mark Selling, who played the role of the puck, is covered with an emoji. In 2017, Mark was convicted of a child pornography charge after finding more than 55,000 images and videos of child pornography – along with some of the victims, who were ––– years young. He soon committed suicide while awaiting sentencing.
Heather then responded to Kevin’s retweet, calling EVG’s use offensive.
Although some people supported Heather, many later voiced their disapproval and responded:
