HBO sets premiere date for the second ‘Euphoria’ special episode


Hunter Schaefer is entering a new role on “Euphoria”.

HBO has announced the premiere date of the second “Euphoria” special episode, which Schaefer co-wrote and co-produced in addition to leading on screen.

Sunday, January 24, H.B.O. The premiere episode of “F * CK doesn’t have to say anyone is not a C bulb” and follows Jules (Schaefer) over the Christmas holidays as they reflect on the year. Schaefer co-wrote it with series producer Sam Levinson, who also worked as a director.

It remains to be seen whether the second episode will go the same route as the first at launch several days before the schedule on the HBO Max. Both episodes were produced under strict COVID-19 production guidelines.

Both special picks right after the end of Season 1, in which Rue used cocaine and his girlfriend Jules returned after boarding the train and leaving him after their high school winter formalities.

The first episode was essentially a two-handed affair between Ru (Zendeya) and Ali (Coleman Domingo), as they sit down to dinner thinking about their lives. Ru met Ali in Season 1 of his Narcotics Anonymous Meetings and this episode investigates the motivation behind his reunion.

The “Euphoria” executive is produced by Zendaya, Levinson, Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Future the Prince, Hadas Moses Liechtenstein, Ron Lesham, Daphne Levine, Tamira Yardini, Merit Tuvi, Yoram Mokadi and Gary Len. Will Greenfield serves as co-producer. The show is produced in partnership with A24 and is based on the Israeli series of the same name, created by Ron Lesham and Daphne Levine, HOT.
