“Puppy for Hanukkah” is a hip-hop style song featuring a different singer from the “Hamilton” star and was produced by Diggs with his longtime friends and creative partners William Hutson and Jonathan Snaps.
There’s a little boy in the Foopbet music video who looks like Diggs Lip, while he synchronizes the songs with the song as he goes through eight days of Hanukkah gifts to see if he gets a puppy.
“David, William and Jonathan created the Hanukkah song for an era that is inventive, humorous and relevant because it celebrates the miracle of the lights, the global life we live in, and the global joy when a family adopts a pet in a child’s life.” Said Steven Vincent, vice president of Disney branded television, music and soundtracks.
The music video will be released on Disney MusicViva and will circulate on Disney Channel and in Disney stores across the country this month.
