Halo Infinite God responds to criticism

It’s been a busy year for Hello Infinity, with Microsoft announcing in August before the first appearance of campaign mode in July that the multiplayer element would be free. The second announcement came very recently when developer 343 Industries outlined a new “coatings” customization feature for the scientific shooter. But some part of Halo Playbase was expecting to see and learn more about the game at this point.

John Junizek, Halo’s community manager, responded to a fan on Twitter who said that MicroSoft “turtles” in the context of Hello Infinity. The news that Microsoft has shared so far about Halo Infinity may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but he does not accept the idea that Microsoft is hiding Halo Infinity, Junizke said.

“I disagree with the turtleneck comment,” Junizke said. “We just explained what the coatings are, showed two new renders, and followed with clarity here on Twitter. Yes, this may be different news for which you would have hoped, but it’s definitely not boring.”

This is not the first time Junijek has specifically addressed “Turtle”. In August Gust, he said 343 would Share more details on Halo Infinity when it can happenHe added, “The plan is definitely not turtle.”

The new announcement of a new “coating” system for weapon, armor and player skins was met with criticism from some fans, including about the effects of microtransaction. The first of the new coatings has been announced to exclude game stop shoppers and people who enjoy sugary snacks, and 343 admits this is not ideal.

Given that it’s been five years since Halo 5 was released in 2015, Halo fans are especially eager to learn and learn more about Halo Infinity after the delay. Hello Infinity made the Xbox Series X a marquee launch title before Microsoft delayed it as part of COVID-19 complications.

The game currently has no release date in 2021, but Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get it on Xbox and PC at no extra cost. In addition, the multiplayer element is free so everyone can try it. Hello Infinity is being released on Xbox Series X and S, it will also come on Xbox One.
