Halo Infinite gameplay unveiled during yesterday’s Xbox event featured footage from an earlier version of the game.
The news comes from a YouTube video posted by Alanah Pearce, in which Pearce explains that the construction shown during yesterday’s live stream doesn’t represent where Halo Infinite is at the moment.

“This is in progress, they said it is an early construction,” Pearce says in the video.
Meanwhile, a developer at 343 Industries told PCGamesN that “the game was captured from a PC that is representative of the experience that players will have on Xbox Series X.”

However, it’s probably worth noting that the Halo Infinite trailer uploaded to Halo’s official YouTube channel is much better than what we saw during the Xbox event; it even features a clip of the Boss fighting an enemy before slicing and dicing him with the beloved Energy.
