A TV reporter and his crew were robbed while shooting in Ecuador – capturing a shocking moment from their footage and an armed robber pointing a handgun at them.
Soccer reporter Diego Ordinola Shared video Criminals brandishing a shameless gun on Friday afternoon as a crew of DirectTV Sports shot outside the Estadio Monomental Stadium in the star-studded area of Guayaquil on Friday afternoon.
“Telephone!” The armed robber yelled, pointing a handgun directly at Ordinola and using the microphone he was using.
The thief, wearing a shirt and cap with a mask-covered face, then pointed the weapon at the camera operator before grabbing someone’s phone from the right side of the person.

The camera of DirectTV Sports was moving during the robbery, and they fell behind him after a pause – he was filmed being driven from the back of a motorcycle.
“We can’t even work in peace,” Ordinola wrote while sharing the clip, adding that police “promised to find these criminals.”
His post was flooded with greetings, as well as a number of people who identified the possible plate number for the motorcycle used for the escape using the footage. It was not immediately clear whether any arrests were made or whether there were any known suspects.
