Thanksgiving 2020: Which stores open for the holidays?
Stores like Kroger and Daler Tree will remain open, but Publics and Costco are closing their doors for Thanksgiving.
If you forget the cranberry berry ri sauce or need to stock up on milk on Thanksgiving Day, don’t despair.
Some grocery stores, drugstore chains and most major convenience stores will be open for last-minute errors on Thursday.
But beware: more stores will be closed on Thursdays than open this year and stores that are open will be operating with fewer hours.
With coronavirus cases on the rise across the country, many retailers have reversed the trend of opening on Thanksgiving for Black Friday sales. Walmart, Target, Kohls, Dickney Sporting Goods, Macy’s, Bed Bath and Beyond and Best Buy are the stores that will be closed.

Due to state law, stores in Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island will be closed on Thanksgiving. Stores in some areas also have different hours due to county or municipal law.

Unit Market: Most stores are open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with all pharmacies closed.
