Grade for Broncos Individual Player Week 14 in Panthers

The Denver Broncos played a clean game at every stage, beating the Carolina Panthers 32-27. Offensively, the Broncos moved the ball with efficiency and defense, largely limiting the opponent.

Things got a little chaotic towards the end of the game, but the Broncos pulled it off. It was a good team effort that most individual players played well. It leads us to player grade.

But remember, MVP is published and analyzed Video above, As usual.

The positive

Dishon Williams | D.L.: 90.2

With so many injuries on the line, Williams has really come a long way and has found himself playing some really good football. His game this year has given him a deeper role with the Broncos for 2021 and hopefully, he can show much needed development.

Drew Lock | QB: 87.8

This was one, if not the other This The best, youngest career sports games. It wasn’t perfect, which no one expected but it showed the progress needed to earn itself 2021 as a starter. L’S’s move was pure, he didn’t force the throw, took what was there and played within the plan. Eventually, the shots opened and he took them, which is what we should see. This was a big step for L.A., but consistency is still needed in the final three games.

KJ Hammler | WR: 85.4

One legitimate complaint about offensive coordinator Pat Sharmur was the poor use of the hammer and the game shows how the speedster rookie was misused in sports in the past. Hamle challenged the Panthers’ defense to the top and saw it broken twice.

Alexander Johnson | Lb: 83.7

Another player with compatibility issues who played a clean game. There was no missed tackle and Johnson also performed well in his coverage despite limited access.

Negative

Pearls to the leader | R.G.: 29.5

It was the beginning of the Rough NFL from Muti, but there were lots of flashes to stay optimistic about for its future. It was clear he was a fraud at his first start, but he also showed why many people considered him a second-round prospect, setting him aside from his injury history. Give Muti a second year on Betty as a primary backup guard, and start in 2022 if she continues to climb on top of him.

Demarcus Vaker Tax | D.L.: 30.1

When he had the bag, it was not a high quality bag. The biggest loss was his run defense. The season has put a better tape as a run defender this season, but the game is reminiscent of his old outrageous run defense.

Shelby Harris | D.L.: 35.2

Like Waker, Harris has put out a better run defense tape this season out of the game. It was rough to see Harris being bullied in an ongoing game and his impact as a pass racer was minimal.

Dalton Reisner | L.G.: 37.6

Risner had his hands full of Derrick Brown and he was really beating the bat in the running game. Reisner held his own in pass safety, but the loss in the run game was very serious.

Another notable grade

Jerry Judy | WR: 65.3

It’s the last time for Judy to spend time on a jugs machine. He added one more drop for his six in the season, but it didn’t have a big, positive impact to balance the scales. The potential shine is amazing but Denver needs it to be more consistent next year.

Karim Jackson | S.: 58.7

While he had some big hits, he also had some missed tackles. Jackson has a history of facing what he faced and that’s what Denver got vs. Panthers. The Broncos were also lucky with some missed readings as Jackson was out of place for a while in coverage.

Calvin Anderson | LT: 53.2

Starting from the left for the sick Garrett Boles, Anderson did exactly that. He organized himself into pass protection and showed little physical malpractice as a run blocker. It wasn’t perfect, but Denver will have to face it right in the future if Anderson takes a big step. At the very least, it looks like a capable backup swing tackle.

Bradley Chub | OLB: 51.0

The story of two phases. As a pass rusher, Chub got a good performance after the quarterback. As a run defender, he was mostly bullying. Chub also missed two tackles and did little damage to the defense.
