The best deal on the Amazon Echo Show 5 at the moment is not coming from Amazon.

Amazon does not always have the best deals on Amazon gear. Fall point: The Echo Show 5 smart screen is currently priced at $ 70 as part of Amazon’s big device sales, but for a limited time, and although deliveries take time, TillGone has the Echo Show 5 for just $ 50 with promo code 266820. That tied up the lowest price I have ever seen.
That seller also has the larger one Echo Show 8 for $ 94 with promo code 9567820. That’s not the lowest price on record, but it’s $ 6 below what Amazon is currently charging.
These Echo Shows pack in all the usual Alexa-powered voice goodness and add a 5.5- or 8-inch touchscreen. They also have front-facing cameras (with privacy shutter), so video calls with friends and family are a breeze.
The Show 5 is perhaps better suited for your nightstand than, for example, a kitchen counter, although you should be aware that some may find the screen a bit brighter, even at its lowest setting.
