America must “find a way to save itself and our property in space, because the Chinese will reach the moon,” Gordon Chang warned on “The Ingram Angle” on Monday night.
“They will take the best places for commercial exploitation and the best places for military purposes,” the author of “The Coming Cups in China” told guest host Jesse Waters. “We need to get there first. We can do that and we can do without the Chinese.”
Chang and Waters were responding to a Politico report claiming that top advisers to President-elect Joe Biden have urged the incoming administration to enter into a “limited space partnership” with Beijing in hopes of easing tensions between the two countries.
Chang advised Waters in question that “coming out of the Obama administration, where we had an oppressive space policy where … we allowed the Chinese to take big steps that hurt themselves so much, because, you know, it feels good that we The Chinese may cooperate in space, but we know they steal millions of dollars of U.S. intellectual property every year.

Chang added, “But, the important thing is that the Chinese space program is military-oriented.” So any change in techno-geni will improve China’s military capabilities and China’s configuration. [of] His military to kill Americans. So, this is a terrific policy proposal on the part of the Biden transition team. “
During the Obama administration, Chang told Waters, U.S. “Space has a big lead over China. So President Obama said, and this seems reasonable, ‘Well, we shouldn’t make space military, because we’re going to be big losers.’

Chang added, “The problem with fair-sounding words, however, was that China and Russia were militarizing the space, they were arming themselves, and we were not protecting our assets in space,” Chang added. “So we’ve lost a lot of ground, and unfortunately, we don’t understand the terrorism of both Moscow and Beijing. So what seemed reasonable on the surface really led to an extreme degree.
“The next 9/11 will be in space, and we will be its victims,” Chang said with a stern warning about the possible consequences of China’s aerial ambitions.
