Google Stadia will add more than a dozen new games to its cloud service in the coming months, plus five exclusive exclusives this morning as part of its Stadia Connect announcement.
Among the new additions are those of IO Interactive Hitman reboot of the series, which includes both the first game, its sequel and the planned Hitman 3 in 2021 – and FromSoftware’s excellent samurai action game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. the Hitman the reboot series will be available on September 1, while Sekiro It will come later this fall.
Stadia is also adding a handful of other featured 2K sports games. The next PGA Tour 2K21 will arrive at Stadia upon launch on August 21, while WWE 2K Battlegrounds comes on September 18 and NBA 2K21 It will be out later this fall.
Some of the other additions are “First in Stadia” releases, which means Google has ensured limited exclusivity. Those include the Bad Dream Games puzzle game Clapping with one hand, arriving in Stadia in early access starting today, and later this fall Konami from Super Bomberman R online, which will feature a playable 64-player Battle Royale mode with Stadia’s Crowd Play feature that allows streamers to invite viewers directly to the game’s active lobbies.
There are a few cross-platform games that get Stadia releases at launch: Talos Principle developer Croteam is reviving its Serious sam series with a fourth installment coming to Stadia and PC next month, and Square Enix and People Can Fly’s Outriders She will arrive at Stadia when she goes out for some time in the holiday season.
Finally, Google announces that three existing games will come to Stadia. The online horror and survival game from Behavior Interactive Dead in the daylight, which is getting unique cloud features like Crowd Play and Crowd Choice (for voting on in-game factors like which side a streamer is playing on), will launch at Stadia in September.
And Nikita Kolesnikov’s cross-platform successes Hello neighbor and the prequel Hello neighbor: Hide & Seek It will be available as part of the Stadia Pro subscription service, with the first game coming in September and the other sometime later this year.
