If you are an avid mobile device gamer or you regularly spend a lot of money on apps, you may already be subscribed to the Google Play Pass: it allows you to access a selection of over 400 apps without paying, without ads or IAP. Until now, the service was only available in the US, but today, Google has announced that it will expand the Play Pass to nine more countries this week. The company is also introducing a new subscription option of $ 29.99 a year and has added a few more apps and games.

The new countries in question are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and the United Kingdom. If you live in any of these, you will be able to access the Play Pass starting this week. To test whether the service is good for you, you can start with a free one-month trial, which will be available through the Play Store burger menu. You can find more information on the Play Pass website once it’s live, but you can also check our thoughts on the service if you trust us more.

The new $ 29.99 annual subscription will effectively cost you ~ $ 2.50 a month, which is 50% less than the $ 4.99 monthly level – this change comes just in time for people who subscribed to $ 2 a month during their first year when the service launched last September. The new option will reach all supported countries, including the United States, later this week.

Google has also promised to add a few more titles to the service after expanding the line in previous months. Subscribers will soon be holding The Gardens Between and Kingdom Rush. Upcoming titles like Rogue’s Bright Paw and The Label’s Line Weight will be added later this year.
