If the Chrome browser just doesn’t eat enough of your RAM, Google is working on adding even more stuff to it with what’s called Kaleidoscope. We do not have many details at the moment, but it seems to be a hub for streaming video games.

The new feature, found at chrome: // kaleidoscope /, is only available if you use Chrome Canary, the most experimental version of Google’s web browser. As Chrome Story reports, the page would rather read “Chrome Kaleidoscope is not currently available for your account. If you are a Googler, please check go / kaleidoscope-unavailable for more information.” However, when visiting the page today, the screenshot above was displayed.

There’s not much to look at on this page, but “All Your Shows in One Place” offers a pretty good idea of what’s to come. The services depicted in the Chrome Story screenshot – Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney + Hotstar (a product of India brand) – are all examples of shows that can be aggregated here.

Only two other screens really appear: one that says “Continue viewing across all your devices”, and another that simply says Kaleidoscope is not yet available for non-Google Accounts (read: it is being tested internally). Hopefully we’ll hear more about this feature soon, as it sounds pretty intriguing to those who often stream TV shows and movies.
