Home Max and Mini, launched in 2017, as the first expansion of Google’s smart speaker lineup. Three years later, Google has officially shut down Home Max as inventory weakens.
Both Chalk and Charcoal Home Max are now out of stock on the US Google Store. Google has confirmed its retirement from Engadget, stressing that it will continue to receive software updates:
Existing Google Home Max users should not worry as they will not see any change in their service. We will continue to provide software software updates and security fixes on Google Home Max devices. We are committed to delivering great sound and full home audio dio features on all our support-enabled products.
When October was announced in October, the speaker did not launch until December 2017. At 11.7 pounds, it features dual 4.5-in high-end woofer in a giant object (13.2 x 7.4 x 6.0-in) and two .7-in custom Twitter “sealed rugged housing” to keep the Se Dio composition. ML powered smart sound The feature adjusts the equalizer in the current environment.
It can be placed vertically or horizontally, while it supports stereo configuration if you have a pair. Other devices have an X jack for plugging in and six remote field microphones for hotword detection.
The launch price of 9,399 was even higher than that, but Google has included 12 months of YouTube music. It then moved to 299 and Black Friday saw a discount to 14 149 for 2020. Google Home Max was last priced at 9 179 before closing.
To replace the device, Google launched Nest Audio Dio this year. At about $ 99, it’s pretty affordable, and buying two for stereo is more fun.
