Golden Knights 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs second round announced


NEW YORK (August 21, 2020) The National Hockey League today announced the dates, start times and national television coverage for the Second Round of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs, which begins Saturday, August 22nd. The Vegas Golden Knights will face the Vancouver Canucks in the Second Round starting Sunday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. PT. All games will be played at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta.

Each of the first four games of the Golden Knight series against the Canucks will be televised on NBCSN in Las Vegas. Fox Sports Las Vegas 98.9 FM / 1340 AM will broadcast each of the team’s games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Dan D’Uva will have the call with additional analysis provided by Gary Lawless. The network will have a first name show starting 30 minutes before each match. Every match during the 2020 playoff run can also be heard on Deportes 1460 AM, where Jesus Lopez en Herbert Castro will have all the actions mentioned in Spanish.

The Golden Knights and will serve as home team for Games 1 and 2, as well as Games 5 and 7, as needed.

The Canucks, who advanced to the round of eight after defeating the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis. Louis Blues during the qualifying round and opening round, will respectively serve as the home team for Games 3 and 4, as well as Game 6, as needed.
