Cutting the list
Here’s a great story: No developer DWVR – PlayStation VR First Person Shooter – is working on a patch to fix the release incompatibility with PlayStation 5. You may recall that the game was included in the list of PlayStation 4 games not currently playable on Sony’s next-gen system, but a member of the Mad Triangle on Writing Red Made said: “I’m working on a patch to fix this issue. Hopefully, it could come before the release of the PS5. I also see if the PS5’s game can be improved [Game Boost], But first need to experiment a lot. “
Asked exactly what’s wrong with the game, the developer explained that it “doesn’t start on the PS5 for some strange reason”. He continued: “It is very strange given that I am using a lot of games like unrealistic engines that work well.”
Hopefully this can fix the problem for the title and some others that don’t currently work on the PS5, even shortening the already very short list.
