OnePlus Buds, the first true OnePlus wireless headphones, are now available in the US They were supposed to launch yesterday, but starting stocks were very limited or someone forgot to press the “in stock” button as they were marked as sold the most of the day. Today they can be yours.
The OnePlus Buds (only blank at the moment) feature a 7-hour battery life with a full 30 hours via recharges in the case, fast charge giving you 10 hours of use in 10 minutes, 13.4mm drivers Customizable touches on each individual headphone to complete actions, and a … well, AirPods-like design.
I will have a review soon, but I quite like OnePlus Buds after trying them out in the past few weeks. Thanks to a software update, they produce sound on par with Pixel Buds and have very good battery life. Priced at $ 80, they’re not perfect (the customizable touch situation isn’t great) and you’ll have to hope that they will fit your ears right away, but they’re a much more affordable option than Apple, Google, or Samsung buds.
Again, only white is available today, with the gray pair coming soon. The blue pair I’ve been testing doesn’t seem to come here.
