Amazon’s glasses that let you talk to Alexa are now available for anyone to buy.

The new Echo Frames are priced at 24 9,249.99 and will ship on December 10th. Amazon launched Frames at its annual hardware event last year as part of its “Annual 1” product lineup, but it was only available to customers by invitation.

Amazon introduced improvements to second-generation eco-frames based solely on invited-user feedback.

The updates have a 40% longer battery life, an auto toe feature to maximize battery life when the glasses are not in use, an upgraded “VIP filter”, which now lets users prefer not only certain app and contact notifications, but calendar lander alerts and Group messages, as well as an “Auto toe volume” feature that automatically adjusts the device’s volume based on the noise level of the user’s surroundings. Echo Frames also comes in three new colors: Modern Tortoise, Horizon Blue and Classic Black.

The lens is clear but Amazon said customers can get a prescription lens placed at the Lenscrafts store.

The invitation will allow users who purchase first-generation Echo Frames to purchase the upgraded version for $ 70, Amazon said. An Amazon spokesperson declined to say how many users bought Echo Frames just as part of the invited program.

While Echo Frames is “graduating” for a full launch, Amazon said it is sinking another “Day 1 Edition” product, the Echo Loop Ring. The Echo Loop, also launched last year, was a titanium ring that allows users to talk to Alexa.

Customers who purchase the Echo Loop will continue to receive updates and support for the device, Amazon said.
