Gigi Hadid has been quite a mother (pun intended) in her pregnancy since she confirmed the news in April.
But, she made it clear that just because she was private doesn’t mean she is disguised or hiding anything. In a series of tweets, the 25-year-old responded to a headline in British Vogue magazine claiming that she had a “genius costume” for her pregnancy.
“Costume…?” the model wrote, adding that the optical illusion of her clothing was unintentional and that she was not trying to hide anything.
The outfit in question is a jumpsuit she wore last week during an Instagram Live with Sophia Roe, a wellness advocate, where they discussed the Black Lives Matter movement, racial equality, and more.
A fan asked Gigi, who is about six months pregnant, “How come you don’t have a belly?” To which she replied that the slack of the monkey plus the angle in which she was sitting created an “optical illusion”, but that “from the side it is a different story.”
In a second tweet, Gigi was not at a loss for words: she is “proudly experiencing” her pregnancy with people who matter and are not trying to hide anything.
