RX 6800 XT Aeros Master for 899 – Gigabyte Raden RX 6800 Series Custom Models Unveiled – RX 6800 XT Gaming OC for 9 849 and RX 6800 Eros Master for US
The Gigabyte Raden RX 6800 will introduce three custom models for the series lineup. These will include the Raden RX6800XT OR Ross Master, the Radion RX6800XT Gaming OC, and the Radian RX6800 Eros Master. Gigabyte presented the full specifications of these cards with their prices and gave us a better look during the presentation which can be seen below (videocards).
Gigabyte Radeon RX6800XT and Radeon RX6800 Eros Master Graphics Cards
First, we have Gigabyte Eros Master variants for Radian RX6800XT and Radian RX6800. Both graphics cards are equipped with a large 3.2 slot cooling solution with a triple-fan design. While both cards have the same triple-fan cooling solution, each fan on the RX006800XT has wing wing-claw blades while the RX006800 has two 9-blade and central 10-blade fan designs. All cards feature an alternate spinning mode and come with a heavy heat sink with some heat pipes passing through it and a large copper base plate that dissipates heat from important components on the card. All cooling is part of the Max-cooled cooling design that Gigabyte incorporates into its next-gen Eros products.
In addition to these details, the cards also come with a backplate that features the OR Ross branding and logo. The OR Ross brand name is lit by the Fusion RGB Sink LED while both cards will cut for a third fan to blow in the air. The PCB is shorter than the cooler and can be seen in the pictures for the card. All three types come with custom PCB designs and are powered by 2x 8-pin connectors. One of the most interesting features of these cards is the LCD Edge view which is an LCD display that can be fully customized when showing the wings of the GPU such as temperature, clock speed, fan speed, etc.
The Gigabyte Radeon RX6800 XT Eros Master comes with a clock speed of 2065 MHz Game and 2310 MHz Boost while the Raden RX 6800 Eros Master has a clock speed rated at 1980 MHz Game and 2190 MHz Boost. The two standard models come with 2 HDMIs and 2 displayports but there is a special USB Type-C variant that gets rid of a single DP output and instead gives users a USB Type-C port. The graphics cards are priced at 99899 US (RX6800 XT Eros Master) and 19 719 US (RX 6800 Eros Master).
Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6800 Gaming OC graphics cards
The Gigabyte Raden RX6800 Gaming OC series will feature a Windforce 3X cooling design. The Gigabyte Raden RX6800 XT Gaming OC comes with its Windforce 3X cooling system and also has a 3 slot design.
The card features three fans with 11 fan blades and a plastic cuff on the front that retains the matte black color theme. These cards are powered by a dual 8-pin power config and have a standard 2 HDMI, 2 DP display output configuration.
The Gigabyte Raden RX 6800 XT Gaming OC will feature a clock speed of 2045 MHz Game and 2285 MHz Boost while the Raden RX 6800 Gaming OC 1925 MHz Game and 2155 MHz Boost will come out of the Clock Bx. Prices for these cards are set at MS 849 US (RX 6800 XT) and MSRP of $ 649 (RX 6800).
It will be interesting to see if these cards will be able to hit retail channels on their explicit MSRP. Currently, there is not a single Raden RX6800XT or RX6800 graphics card that is available at its true MSRP due to very low stock. Gigabyte’s OR Ross Master is also a more premium variant and these cards usually do not have more stock than standard variants. We saw this with the GeForce RTX 30 OR Ross Launch, which sold out almost immediately after hitting the retail segment.
