A new online multiplayer co-op mode is coming Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch Productions announced today. Legends, which follows four warriors of legendary renown, will be available for free this year. The locations and enemies are inspired by Japanese mythology.
‘We have designed Legends to be an exclusive cooperative gameplay experience, ”says Sucker Punch. Players will be able to use Matchmaking or play with friends in groups of up to four. In a full squad, players can attempt on wave-based survival missions. The mode includes four character classes, with more details on their arrival possibilities. “With two players in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, you will be able to play a series of co-op Story missions that escalate into difficulties, built on the foundation of combat from the single-player campaign, but with new magic twists that often require careful synchronization with your partner, ”the developer says.
A teaser trailer for the mode of the game’s upcoming classes fell next to the announcement today. Ghost of Tsushima launched earlier this summer.
