“Absolutely nothing.” By – Germany is cheerful of its homebound bed potatoes to help fight the coronavirus epidemic.
The federal government praised all the lazy Medi-Tatters video online video “#Special Heroes – Together Against Corona”, reports Dutsche Welle.
In the short clip an old man remembers his “service” to the nation when he was a young student “in the winter of 2020, when the eyes of the whole country were on us”. “
“I was just 22 years old and studying engineering while hitting the second wave,” says the narrator. “At this age, you want to go to party, to study, to get to know people, to drink with friends … yet we had different plans for fate.”
The video then turns to the narrator, like a young man, with dramatic music in the background: “An invisible fear that threatens everything we believe.”
He goes on to say: “Suddenly the fate of this country is in our hands – so, we did our best and did what was expected of us, the only true thing.
“We did nothing. Absolutely nothing. Being lazy like Recon, ”he says, keeping his bed with pizza.
“Day and night, we stayed at home on our asses and fought the spread of coronavirus,” the man says. “Our bed was the front line and our patience was our weapon.”
The tongue-in-cheek ad says with it the future of the nation.
Before the government reads the message, he says: “This is how we became heroes,” he says: “You too can be a hero at home.”
The country – which has reported more than 12,000 Covid-19 deaths and about 775,000 cases – has imposed a partial lockdown for a month in early November.
