German jeweler, in his 70s, fatally shot two suspected robbers: report


BERLIN – Police say a jeweler in the northern German city of Sele has shot dead two men trying to rob his business.

Stolen German hyster was not reported in EW 1.1B

The German news agency DPA reported on Tuesday that one suspected robber was killed on the spot, while another later died at the hospital.

Cell police have appealed to witnesses to the incident to come forward on Monday afternoon. They are especially eager to hear from any tourists who may have been taking photos of Selena’s picturesque old town at the time.

In the early 70’s, the owner and his wife were both alone in the jewelry store at the time of the alleged robbery.
