ATHENS – The Georgia quarterback rotation seems to be catching up with more speculation on the position than before.
This, despite the pride of Stickson Bennett, gave him a 931 QB rating in his 20-passing F-29 passing performance with 211 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 37-10 win over Arkansas.
Bennett seems to like to start when UGA hosts the Tigers at 7.30pm on Saturday, although JT Daniels could also see his first action.
Daniels, for the most part, feels that with his NFL hand and passing skills will eventually take the offense of the Bulldogs.
But Bennett is not yet ready to turn the reins.
In addition to Bennett’s moxie, the fourth-year junior showed the kind of mobility and running skills that could put a ub burn defense on his heels.
Some may not be aware, but Bennett’s passing performance in Arkansas also received second place in the SEC last Saturday. His QB rating surpassed that of Alabama’s Mac Jones, ahead of Florida’s Kyle Tresc and Mississippi State’s KJ Costello.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Bennett is a better quarterback or goes ahead for any kind of record-breaking year.
But what it shows is the recognition of Todd Monken’s air raid principles in the Bulldogs ’offense.
Do people realize that Monken is the only active coordinator who has directed the top 5 offenses in the NFL and the top 5 offenses in the collegiate rank?
Georgia’s offense will still have pro style principles, but it will try to advance the run, especially with the offensive line somewhat set and a drop-with f in the backfield.
Coach Kirby Smart addressed three major issues earlier this week, including what the Bulldogs ’run is ahead for the game.
Five .nanda
James Cook’s struggles in Arkansas have been well documented, as his um fission, stumbling and two drop passes all take place in major disappointments after the se fission build-up.
Smart made it clear that UGA would not be afraid to find another warm hand to pair starter Zamir White if there were more issues against GA Burn.
“We have five people with whom we feel comfortable, (and) the good thing is that young people have gained a lot of reputation with some other people – Kenny [McIntosh] “Had dinner at camp,” said Smart. “We were able to get a candle [Milton] And Daijun [Edwards] Because of that on many more delegates. I have a lot of faith in those five people. They do a good job and work every day. ”
The Macintosh is healthy now and could be a top option if Cook continues to struggle.
Quarterback yack a
No, Smart hasn’t named an early quarterback or come close to tipping his hand.
But the Bulldogs head coach has some encouraging words on the recently cleared JT Daniels and D’Van Mathis.
“(Mathis) is Keep up the good work, it’s getting better, it’s evolving as a player, ”said Smart. “He has learned from some of his mistakes, and [we’re] The players around him also try to play better so that he has success.
“It simply came to our notice then [Daniels], It will continue to work. He’s doing a great job – glad he’s cleared up because he’s able to play now. We’re excited to see him and see what he does. “
Bo knows
Smart’s biggest concern over the Smart Burn offense is clearly Ni Knicks, a fast-growing legacy player who has so many coaches on the field as a skilled and athletic quarterback.
How Smart Compared to the Knicks Jack From made his New Year’s Growth one of the top 10 rated passers as a sophomore.
“You can’t put a price tag on experience,” Smarter said. “I saw that with Jack from. The first year you saw these simple mistakes the next year it was like, ‘I know the distance down better. I know where the yard marker is. I know I’m in the field goal range – don’t take the bag. I know where I’m going with the ball. I’ve seen this defense eight times now, I know exactly what to do with the ball. ‘
“It’s one of those deals that makes you make better decisions with experience. It is very clear [Bo Nix’s] To understand his guilt, the learning curve of how you use it is really fast. “
The Knicks have a streak of 218 consecutive passes without entering Georgia’s game on Saturday, the second longest in the country behind Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence (276).
