ATHENS – As good as that, Kirby Smart made it clear, Georgia could have a win over Ub Burn and it would have been better.
The No. 4 Tigers are dominated by the No. 4-Bulldogs, who won Saturday night 27-6 at Sanford Stadium, with an improvement from Week One to Week Two, like any team at the SEC.

The defense, which kept the ub burn out of the end zone and allowed the Tigers just 216 yards, was just as strong.

“I think he got a little worried early on, (and) he probably missed a few throws,” Smart said. “The people around him played well, and that’s important to Statson. But he did a good job of figuring out what we wanted to do in the game plan and he did it well.
“We think he’s the guy right now, and he’s done a good job of preparation.”
Transfer jetty Daniels was cleared last week, but Smart hinted that it could take some time for Daniels to get comfortable playing in the defensive right knee brace he suffered from a torn ACL in the USC opener against Fresno State last season.
Meanwhile, the Georgian players are happy that Bennett has survived to his nickname “Mailman” and continues to deliver.

Good defense
