Gayle King they brought him some breaking news for the first time: they told him that a bear was wandering outside OprahThe house … and no, he couldn’t take a look.
The CBS News presenter is quarantined at O’s pad in Santa Barbara, and as such … documented the message delivered to him by the magnate’s own guards who are guarding the crib. Long story short … there was a black bear outside, and they wanted him to stay.
However, you should see how Gayle gets the word: it’s quite funny. While she seems surprised to hear that there is an adult bear, she also sounds equally intrigued.
Unfortunately, the security staff is holding firm … telling you that you really shouldn’t venture out to take a look. And, don’t worry, Oprah herself was also notified, it doesn’t seem like she was home because of the bear scare … a phenomenon we’ve been seeing a lot more lately.

Perhaps the fact that people are locked up inside is reason enough for these fuzzy creatures to be a bit bolder these days. That, or maybe they just smelled a little leftover food.
That usually takes them out … even into the homes of the rich and famous, apparently.
