The New York Yankees tie the game against the Atlanta Braves after Gary Sanchez and Clint Frazier hit back-to-back home runs.
The New York Yankees did not shake an early 2-0 hole against the Atlanta Braves. After Masahiro Tanaka allowed an early two-run homer to Johan Camargo, the Bronx Bombers immediately bounced back.
First, Gary Sanchez worked another strong at-bat, which showed he is very close to breaking out of his battle. He tattooed a long home team below the line of the left field to cut Atlanta’s lead in half. It was Sanchez’s second home run of the year, raising his handball average to .114.
This should feel good to Gary Sanchez. Is this the hit that will get him to battle? #NYYforNY pic.twitter.com/PFESieD3xu

But New York was not done. Fresh from his minor call, Clint Frazier executed perfect bat speed and launched a shot into the Bulls’ Bullpen. Unlike Sanchez, he is currently playing 1,000 tackles on his first home game of 2020.
