Game show obstacle must wipe out the ‘Wipeout’ rival after completing the course

The contestant of the game show ‘Wipeout’ died on Wednesday after going into cardiac arrest after completing the final hurdle course, a spokesman for TBS and production company Endemol Shine North America confirmed.

Sources close to the construction say the contestant completed the course, but needed medical help after leaving the course. He was then present at the scene by emergency professionals, then paramedics were called to the set, and the contestant was moved to a local hospital.

No further information has been released about the contestant. All “wipeout” contestants undergo medical examinations before being cleared to participate.
