BTS released this Friday (Aug. 20) Finally Like “Dynamite,” the group’s highly anticipated English single with a “bit of funk and soul” that will get you almost off your feet with a chorus that only adds more fuel and speed chalk.
While the K-pop boy band contributes to the disco-pop excitement, Mariah Carey throws it back to ’90s R&B by dusting off her previously written but newly recorded collaboration with Lauryn Hill “Save The Day”. Off has B-sides album De The rarity, “Save The Day” presents examples of Ms. Hill from the Fugees hit “Killing Me Softly” for an implicit instant classic.
Speaking of powerhouse collapse, Pharell Williams set up a collaboration with Jay-Z for “Entrepreneur,” which was released as part of a TIID cover package with the title The New American Revolution and focuses on how Black business owners, from Tyler, the Creator to Issa Rae, who make comedies in the festive music video, can help erode systemic racism.
